While there has been a steep growth in internet bandwidth, international bandwidth prices have declined sharply. This has led to a trend where large enterprises and educational in stitutes continually increase their Internet bandwidth and subscribe to more than one ISP (multihoming) to increase resilience. Higher speeds will of course mean better performance but beyond a point, the improvement in performance does not match the increase in speed. ....en_US
