Residual lateritic soils, with typical inherent properties, exhibit a number of constructional difficulties related to their workability, field compaction and strength that may be overcome with fly ash stabilisation. The present research was aimed at understanding the behaviour of a highly weathered residual lateritic soil modified with fly ash and lime, with respect to their geotechnical and environmental performance.
