dc.description.abstractNoncatalytic and catalytic decomposition behaviour of commodity plastics such as waste and virgin polyethylene terephthalate(PET), waste low density polyethylene(LDPE), waste polyethylene(PE) and pure polypropylene(PP) are carried out using thermogravimetric analyzer(TGA). Catalyst used in this study are commercially available ZSM-5, fresh and spent FCC catalysts, laboratory synthesized sol-gel and hydrothermal mesoporous catalysts A1-MCM-41 of different aluminium contents and high external surface area containing nanocryystalline n-HZSM-5. polymer samples characterized by differentials scanning calorimetry(DSC)...en_US
