dc.description.abstractThe thesis contains five chapters. First two chapters focus on the copper-catalyzed synthesis of 2-(arylthio)arylcyanamides and 2-(arylselanyl)arylcyanamides via domino C-S and C-Se crosscoupling reactions. The chapter three describes copper-mediated three-component strategy for the synthesis of 5-aminotetrazoles. The chapter four deals with copper-catalyzed synthesis of 2- azidobenzimidazoles and the chapter five having two parts focuses on copper-catalyzed synthesis of 2-aminobenzimidazoles and 2-(1H-1,2,3-triazo-1-yl)benzimidazoles, respectively..en_US
