The thesis of above mentioned title is based on the results of a few chosen aspects of peroxovanadium(V) and oxofluorochromium(VI) chemistries. While it focuses, in part, on peroxovanadate(V) mediated synthesis of quaternary ammonium tribromides and oxidative organic brominations, a relatively smaller section of the text is dedicated to the synthesis and structural assessment of a set of newer heteroligand diperoxovanadates(V).
